Auditing courses
Application forms are available from August each year and are to be handed in by the first week of October. New auditors are only accepted at the beginning of each winter semester.
Auditors are accepted to the individual courses, providing there is sufficient space and the department recognizes the intent for the application. There is no admission test for auditors. Admission is for one semester. The University reserves the right to revoke admission at any time.
Applicants are generally notified in writing at the beginning of November whether they have been accepted.
Acceptance as an auditor in no way entitles an auditor to admission as an enrolled student in later years.
Auditors do not have student status.
Auditors do not take exams. At the end of each semester, they can receive a record of registration for the courses attended as an auditor.
Auditors are not entitled to sign out or independently use HFF equipment, or to produce their own projects through HFF.
Auditing applications must include the reasons for the application.
The following materials are to be included with the application:
a) a hand-written curriculum vitae, specifying the applicants' previous education and job experience, and a
b) school-leaving certificate, or certification of appropriate qualifications.
To round out the application, other transcripts or references can be added, along with individual work, e.g. photos, texts, publications, all DIN A-4-sized. Please do not include video cassettes or CD-ROMs.
The auditing fee is listed on our website.
