Lia is only 14 years old and almost always alone. Her mother is so caught up in her own life that she hardly notices how much she is neglecting her own daughter. The situation becomes critical for Lia when her mother goes on holiday with her new boyfriend and leaves Lia home alone. In order to cope with her isolation and fear, Lia desperately tries to create a world for herself in which she no longer feels alone.
