The opposite of work
Week after week. Monday to Wednesday, 2 to 5pm – a theatre room crowded with people from all over the world. Unemployed people participate here in a governmental reintegration-program, killing their time between black painted walls. Former factory workers as well as academics are drinking coffee, talking and performing. Those who don’t want to stand on stage, don’t have to do so. And those who want to, often don’t know how. Anyway the project seems to matter to these people. The narrow, dark room has become a meeting place.
Only Klaus is not quite satisfied. The lethargy and lack of professionalism that surrounds him start to get on his nerves. After some of his colleagues elect him to take over the organization of their stage program.
Only Sonja is not quite satisfied with his approach. She feels that Klaus is domineering the group. After a while she’s not the only one who thinks that way. The situation ends in a clash, that divides the group.
